Balding Eagle?!?!

This happened about a few years ago. When I was in middle school, I had alot of trouble with my hair. So I cut it all off and got it tapered in the back, like T-boz from TLC. At first i liked the style! i got highlights, spiked it up, you know, it was hot! But after a while, the style wasn't so hot. I remember one day, at school, I was talking with one of my friends and this girl came up behind me and gasped. I turned and asked her what. She was like 'oh my GOD! You have a bald spot!' The people around me all gasped as well! I ran with one of my friends to the bathrooom and looked at the spot where she was talking about. It was the lower left corner of my head. It was indeed going bald. My friend confirmed it. And when I got home to discover it was actually going bald back there. Over a period of 2 months it got worse. It actually got so bald til it was smooth! I was so devastated! On top of that, it was a big spot and very visible to everyone! I then decided to go natural and wore kinky twists. It took about a month and half to see hair actually growing back. Then about 3 weeks for me to be able to grab that hair and braid it. So I had to walk around with my twists in a low pony tail for that time because my hair was so bald in the back there was a huge gap with no hair! My hair is much better now and after a year a half of natural, I went back to relaxers. I found out when I get stressed my hair breaks off back there. But still to this day, I have trouble with that one spot growing to slow. I had long hair after coming back from natural and after about a year, I cut it all off because that one spot got short again, this time half neck length compared to almost mid back length which was the rest of my hair :(

The experience was devastating, but it taught me to keep better care of my hair. That's for sure!
