BLONDE HAIR WILL FLY!!!

I've had long hair all my life, so when i was seventeen I fell in love with Anita Baker's look and cut it all off. I kept it that way for the next three years, making sure to relax it every three months or so.

One day when i was about twenty, I was preparing for a date. By this time I was experimenting with blond hair. On this particular day I decided that i was going to save some money and do my relaxer myself. My best friend had a relaxer kit so I used it, not even bothering to check the strength of it.

Well I'm slathering it all over my head, let it sit for a few minutes (my hair is on the fine side) and rinsed the relaxer and shampooed according to directions. Then I began to blow dry it, and I noticed that there was blond hair flying all over the bathroom! LOL, at first it didn't even register, that it was MY hair!

With two hours left to get dressed, I didn't waste any time. I had my friend bust out her clippers and scissors and give me an impromptu hair cut. It actually came out pretty cute, and the next day I went to Supercuts to have all the brittle, split ends cleaned up.

Needless to say, that for the past twelve years, I've put nothing stronger on my hair than Pink Hair Lotion. Not only does it keep my hair soft and shiny, but it's easier to manage without having to use all those harsh chemicals.
