Curly Hair Extensions

Curly hair extensions will give you fullness, extend the length of your hair and add a dash of color to accentuate your looks.  Tthese weaves can be a great alternative to a wig. The amazing thing about these is the variety of options that it provides for you to experiment various styles and choose the one that best fits you.

Extensions for curly hair are produced through a synthetic process that contain toyokalon and kanekalon as the raw materials, and usually are available as synthetic or human hair or a combination of both.

Curly extensions are available in various textures for you to choose from depending on your need. If volume is what you are looking for then there is the Asian and European type. There are deep waves and spiral curls. If you want to sport a wet, wavy look the Spanish texture type will give you just that. If you want baby curls the African kinky style would be a good option for you.

It is important to understand the various methods available to add the extensions to your hair.  They range from curly clip on, which is easy to put on and remove.  You can also braid them into your hair.  

Some people also glue them directly to their real hair by using adhesives which is something that I would not recommend due to the irritation of the scalp as well as potential hair loss. A better option is to have them sewn in.

On the maintenance front it is very easy to maintain curly weaves by using conditioners and shampoo, just as you would do for your normal hair. The only caution is to refrain using any kind of dryers and risk the synthetics that is used to produce curly hair extension from being burned by the heat.
