Do It Yourself Hair Extensions
Many people choose do it yourself hair extensions rather than the normal hair extensions which will have be prepared by hair experts in today’s age where time has become a precious commodity.
DIYs hair extensions are the popular way to add synthetic hair or human hair on to existing hair to make it look more shiny, full or wavy as the need may be. While opting for hair extensions, it is imperative that you choose the best color, texture, style and length that will suit you well and enhance your looks.
There are a variety of methods by which hair extensions can be attached to your real hair such as bonding, weaving, pre-tipped or fusion, mini-links, clip-in and seamless. Though bonding is the easiest method where glue is applied to join the real and synthetic hair, it is only a temporary method and can cause hair loss.
Clip-ins are the best alternative to permanent solutions as they really are a do it yourself hair extension where you can clip in or out the hair extension without causing any harm to your real hair and will provide color, volume, shine and length to your hair.
The mini-links method is the safest and healthiest way as no glue, heat or remover is used. The new method on the market which sells like hot cake is the tape on and seamless method where the synthetic hair extension pre-taped with a two way sticking tape and you will only have to rip the backing and tape it. The amazing things about seamless or tape on do it yourself hair an extension is that they last for almost 5 days. Again, any type of glue going on your hair is not a good idea.
My recommendation would be the temporary clip-on method or a sewn-in method!
DIY hair extensions are great in that you need not have to be a hair expert and does not burn a hole in your pocket.
