Gone in 60 seconds!

I had decided to go all natural after relaxing my hair for 3 years. I had fully grown my relaxed hair out and was fully natural. This lasted for about 3 years when I decided to get my hair texturized because I felt it had become too difficult to keep up with my natural hair (kinky natural. Not curly natural). I decided to get a texturizer and it came out fairly decent. 2 months had gone by and I went to the salon to get a wash and dry. When they started to wash it the hairdresser held up a mirror for me to see the middle of my head. It was COMPLETELY GONE. All that remained was my new growth. I wanted to CRY. I must have been totally neglecting my hair, brushing it into a ponytail and thinking it was all good because my front was thick and healthy looking. So now I'm bald in the middle and frustrated because I dont know how to salvage it. Every time I rub my hands through the back of my hair I get P*****.

That's horrible

Hi Amira,

Thanks for entering the contest. I am so sorry to hear what's happened to your hair.

Keep the area well-moisturized with a thick, creamy moisturizer like Healthy Hair Butter. Also, try conditioner washing regularly. Use seamless tools on your hair and don't pull it too tightly.
