Threats to Good Hair Days

Do you ask yourself if you'll ever experience good hair days? Do youever find yourself getting frustrated with the amount of time and energy you put into your hair care routine and being disappointed with the outcome?
Why can't it just be easy? Hair care products, tools, and stylists are supposed to help you solve your hair problem, right?
Some of the frustrations I have dealt with trying to style my hair are included along with things what I've heard from friends and family. I am presenting this list to show that you're not alone in what you deal with in trying to attain and maintain healthy hair. Luckily, it usually pays off in the end!
- Washing your hair twice to only find after you get out of the shower, you still see product on your hair and in your scalp.
- Taking 3 hours to rollerset and dry to find out that you didn't do a good job rollersetting.
- Straightening your hair for a special occasion only to find it's raining and your hair goes poof in a matter of minutes.
- Getting your hair trimmed and later looking to see that you still have split ends.
- Taking a picture of a cute hair cut to a stylist and have them butcher your hair.
- Asking for a small trim and instead getting a hair cut.
- Not scratching your scalp and still having your relaxer touch-up burn like mad.
- Having straight hair and frizzy edges that won't lie down.
- Getting a virgin relaxer or relaxer touch up that doesn't take.
- Thinking your hair looks cute and having someone comment "What did you do to your hair?" with a scrunched up face.
- Not getting your hair to look right, so ending up with a ponytail everyday.
- Getting in and out of the shower due to deep conditioning.
- Having your hair break off or get thin and not knowing why.
- Going all over town and the internet to buy a product only to find it doesn't work for you.
- Not having enough room to store all of your hair care products.
- Having to re-wash your hair when you find out a style isn't working for you.
- Constantly buying hair pins and scrunchies because they somehow disappear. They must end up with the lost socks.
- Smooshed hair from having your scarf fall off at night without your knowledge.
- Hair bends from wearing rollers overnight that result in having to put your hair up -- defeating the purpose of rolling. (I've ruined many potential good hair days with this one!)
- Thinking your hair looks pretty cute and then getting to work and finding out it's not so cute.
- Forgetting to bring a scrunchy and pins to tie your hair up when it's raining, snowing, windy, etc.
