Hair Care Myths

I am sure you have heard or even found yourself saying some of these hair care myths. I am right there with you! I have used my share of the following myths but now I know better. I am providing this list for anyone who is curious about some of the things they commonly hear about hair care.

  2. Drugstore products are not as good as salon products.
     

  3. Silicone is not good for your hair.
     

  4. Damaged hair can be completely repaired.
     

  5. Relaxing hair causes cancer.

  7. You should alternate shampoos and conditioners to increase their effectiveness.
     

  8. You should always shampoo twice to make sure it's effective.
     

  9. Lots of lather determines how clean the hair is getting.
     

  10. If you have a sensitive scalp, you should use baby shampoo since they are gentle.
