Horror Mum.

I had very short and dry hair. It was a nightmare. I browsed the web continuously for any remedy to at least find something that will make my hair grow.

When I was 9 years old, I had extremely long, thick and beautiful hair, that went way past my knees. It was so thick that a comb could not go through. That is until I developed splitting headaches. Mum took me to the doctor who diagnosed migraine. So I was put on a no-no diet......no chocolates, no sodas and no coffee...horror!! But all that was to no avail. I continued getting my migraines. Them mum decided that I needed glasses...and I got them. Not those fashionable ones, but the owl kind. Sheer humiliation! But the migraines continued. Mummy was getting too worried and sick of my complaints. So she took this BIG KITCHEN SHEARS and, gasp, CHOPPED my hair from nape downwards. I cried all night looking at my long beautiful hair. I did not go to school the next two days and moped around the house. Since then I have not had very long hair and still wish there was something I could do to grow my hair that long again.
