Hot Curling Relaxed Hair

I have relaxed hair and I bought a hot curler for those special occasions I dont want to wear my hair straight. I know about the other methods of curling relaxed hair with less heat but I really wanted to try a hot curler. Everytime I try to curl a piece of hair it comes out looking really flat and
not bouncy at all. Is there any advice or tutorial you can do on creating curls ?

Better Curls

Hair will not keep good curls if it is dirty. so it best to have clean hair wen attempting to use hot curling.

Tip: don't use shampoo, it is not very good for your hair. (I only use neutralizing shampoo wen i relax my hair other than that i use conditioner alone and it works fine for me.)

Caruso

Hello Zahra,

Have you tried using Caruso Curlers? They are somewhat like hot rollers but they do not cause any damage. The curls also hold very well.You can find them at Sally Beauty.

Otherwise, make sure that you do not have too many oils or creams on your hair.
