How to have good looking curly hair

by Alicia
(Fayetteville,GA)

Having curly hair can be a mess. I have discovered some secrets on how to make your curly hair look good. What I do is after I get out of the shower I towel dry my hair and then brush my hair then go back into the bathroom and re-wet my hair. Not so much that it is soaking wet but just enough to where its not driping water. Then I apply Garnier Fructis curling mousse. This hair mousse will lock into your curls with the water (instead of almost dry hair) and shapes each of your curls with out the frizz.

Then I let the curling mousse sit in my hair for about 10 to 15 mins scrunching it occasionally. Then I go and Blow dry my hair with a revlon ionic blow dryer ( to give it a little volume) scrunching it while I blow dry (so my curls don't go flat/straight)

Then after its dry if its to poofy then I take a spray bottle and spray my hair a couple of time with water and let it air dry. I have found that this is a great way to keep your curls with out them being stiff and frizzy.

This also work with people who do not have naturally curly hair who want curly hair.

Another tip for curly hair is to use mousse products instead of the hair gel. Mousse is a lot lighter but it just as strong if not stronger than hair gel and wont hold back those beautiful curls and weigh them down.I hope this information is useful to the curly hair population! Good Luck!
