No bend or hold to ends of hair after wrapping

I have my hair styled in a nice bob at the beauty shop but I cannot maintain the style. When I wrap my hair, the ends are too straight; there is no bend and it looks bad. When I roll or pin curl it, the curls are too tight and my hair looks tight and much shorter.

Help. I don't know what to do at night to maintain the free flowing bob that has a bend to the ends.

(If you are the person in the picture, your hairstyle is what I am trying to achieve after having it styled that way. Your hair is adorable.)

Wrap and Roll
by: Nina, Editor LHHA

Hi There!

Sorry to hear of your frustrations with wrapping! I have experienced the same thing sometimes so I understand.

You can try putting a couple of rollers on the crown of your head. That way, you'll have a few falling curls along with the length.

You can also switch up. Wrap one night and roll the next night.

Also, if you rollerset and wrap, the rollerset helps keep curls so even if you wrap, you'll still have some bend to the ends.

Make sure to not use too much oil on your hair at night before wrapping. Just a tad on the ends will do it.

Thanks for the compliment!
