Organic hair products are talked a lot about these days. What exactly makes a hair product organic? Are they really better for your hair? Let's take a look at some of the properties of organic products for hair.
Hair care products are not regulated by the federal government and many of them contain harmful ingredients that some people think may lead to cancer such as carcinogens as well as birth defects, sterility, developmental problems, and endocrine disruption.
Most organic products do not contain carcinogens and are not tested on animals nor uses animal bi-products. They are also typically paraben-free and sodium lauryl sulfate-free. Nature is used as the main source for ingredients.
