Slow Growing Hair

Hello my name is Sjana. I use to have very health and long hair. To make a long story short, it was burned out at the shops with too much heat when pressing and flat ironing.

Now I have a perm, and my hair seems to be growing back, just slowly. I had a friend that was roller setting my hair and then wrapping it, like the doobie. I can't get her to do it on a regular basis, so I have been trying to learn how to roller set my own hair. I read your tips on roller setting and I will give it a try one more time.

What can I use to solve my slow growth problems. Should I let the perm grow out or would that be dangerous now to do.

What products should I use on my hair to roller set it since I do have a perm.

Thank You for your website,

Sjana

Proper Nutrition
by: Nina Dyoran

Hi Sjana,

There isn't really anything you can do to increase your hair growth rate. What you can do is make sure that you are at your optimal growth rate. You can do this by eating right, exercising and keeping yourself healthy. If you are healthy, then your hair will be healthy.

As far as rollersetting...

Since you are relaxed, it's really simple. Use a product like Salerm 21 after conditioning your hair. Then use water to set your hair. You'll get nice springy curls that way that are very soft! And the Salerm 21 will make your hair smell really good!
