starting to grow my hair

About a year ago I cut my down-to-the-butt length hair up to my shoulders! (biggest mistake of my life) I miss my long hair! I have been trying to grow it back this past year but living on campus, sleeping in the top bunk and staying out late are not the type of environments where your hair gets the added tlc it needs. So I waited until I was out of school to start my hair growth journey. I've been doing a hell of alot of research and found two great product lines to use and hopefully they work!

This will be my first time roller setting ever. I am starting next week because that is when all my products will arrive. My brother bought be beauty for ashes god head. And I purchased the leave in conditioner and growth lotion from the hyrdatherma naturals product line.

I just have one question what's the best brand of rollers anyone would recommend? Also, I know the dryer gives the best results but I'm buying that last and would like to know how it turns out with just air drying?

Thank you so much for your time,

Lindsay :)

Hi there Lindsey!

Congratulations on your decision to grow your hair longer and have it healthier. Roller setting is a great option to avoid direct heat. When looking for rollers, just make sure they are nice and smooth and don't have any snags. Otherwise, there aren't any recommendations I can offer on types of rollers. Many people prefer magnetic rollers but I personally prefer mesh rollers because they dry faster and are a little easier to manipulate. You can find both types at a beauty supply store like Sally Beauty.
