trying to decide to transition

by Alecia
(Crofton, MD)

I have tried 2 times in the past and I'm hoping the 3rd time is the charm. I fall off when my hair is hard to comb in the roots. I probably should be putting something on the roots to make it easier to comb but I don't think I do. I really don't like doing my own but why am I spending all this money letting someone else do it and its not looking amazing and growing down my back like it should. I don't want to lock it. I don't think it will be naturally curly. I know it would be super thick and kinky. I was wondering if Carol's Daughter's products would be good to use in transitioning my hair? I know I will do sets so you can't tell what is new growth and what is relaxed hair. I can't do the big chop. My hair is currently to my shoulders. I don't want it to fall all out trying to transition either. I have a stylist who is all for me transitioning. Next time I see her, she said she would fill me in on what I need to do.

Try Carol's Daughter
by: Nina D, Editor LHHA

Making the decision to transition is an important one because it takes a lot of dedication and time.

For your roots, I would recommend applying Carol's Daughter Healthy Hair Butter after your leave-in conditioner. This will make them easier to comb through and prevent breakage.
