I am a more 'mature' African American woman and I'd like to add that I am loving my permed salt & pepper tresses. For the first time in a loooong time I have found the perfect set of products (for me). First of all I use the Wen products, with great success; then I use the Instyler on my dry hair to straighten and style (set on low). The results are Great!! I never have liked flat irons; and I have to say wrapping my hair has never worked for me either. These products cost a bit but they cost less then living in a salon. I will use these products until they are no longer offered, then I may have to shave my head...

Wen is a godd one. I am also a huge fan of Mixed Chicks products. Mixed Chicks tames my frizz really well, and defines curls. www.mixedchicks.net
