What else to to talk about, lets relax!!!!

So the last time I relaxed my hair was in December of 2008. Of course that was not my last time getting a relaxer but I just wanted to take time to let my hair recuperate and also to allow at least 1/2 to 1 inch of new growth to come in so I wouldn't relax pre-relaxed hair.

However my trim dates are not consistent with my relaxer times. More so because I relax my hair every two months but I've actually been trimming hair once a month, from maybe the beginning of the month to end of the next month. As of right now, unrelaxed, my hair is a little bit past my shoulders on my back.

Early in the year of 2008. I actually cut my hair up to my ears because when I got out of boot camp and my training school my hair was really damaged from not taking care of it and the constant times of getting in the pool filled with chlorine dried it out. Shortly after arriving to my current duty station I began relaxing it and the results were disastrous so I had to sit back and think about what I needed to do to get my hair back healthy. Thats where the major hair cut came from.

Since then I've switched my relaxer to Olive Oil as well as used some of their products like the shampoo and the conditioner but I have recently switched my hair care products to Carol's Daughter which has actually been a leap from the Olive Oil products and have actually minimized my breakage and has contributed tremendously to the amount of new growth I have gained.

I am actually going to relax my hair this up coming weekend since the last time I relaxed it in December of 2008. Sorry don't have any pics.
