what is the best way to strighten my natural hair?

I have the hair texture like Jill Scott after washing it. I do not want a relaxer at all. I tried it and did not like it 6 yrs ago. I tried a texturizer maybe 2 years ago . I don't know what to do. It is thick and coarse and just hard to maintain and I don't want to put chemicals to to. I thought about just cutting it off to my new growth but I just can't do it even though my roots grow out wavy. I tried going to pros but they just want to cut it off or relax it. I really need help ! I don't even know where to start

Roller Set then Flat Iron

Hi there,

The most healthy way to straighten your natural hair is to do a roller set. You can follow my instructions. Try using a leave-in conditioner mixed with a setting lotion for moisture and hold. When you finish roller setting, you will need to flat iron your hair to get it straighter with your hair texture. Remember to use a heat protectant.
