What to do when I where my long hair down.

I have hair that reaches mid-way of my back. Most often I where it in an up style but usually the week before and the week after my touch up I where it down. I have heard so many different stories about how to sleep on your hair. People say sleeping in rollers can make the hair strand weak. Others say wrapping can thin one side of your hair out. So I don't know what to do. I like the idea of body rather than the flat look that you get with wrapping. However about 2 days after my roller set the body and curls are gone please help me keep my long hair, healthy and pretty when I where it down!

High Ponytail is the Solution

Hi there,

I used to deal with some of the same problems as you - until I found a solution.

Solution #1 - At night, take your hair and put it in a high ponytail with a satin scrunchy. Then finger-roll the length and clip the roll to your hair with some hair clips.

Solution #2 - Do the high ponytail again, and wrap your hair around the ponytail.

If you've rollerset your hair, this should help you to hold on to the curl.

At night or in the morning, add a bit of serum to your ends and remember to cover your hair with a scarf before bed.

If your edges are a little frizzy in the morning, add a little hair cream and smooth with a brush. Then put on your scarf for 15 minutes or so.
