Your roller setting technique

by Maya
(GA)

I love the way your roller set came out. I bought the purple mesh rollers and the regular roller pins were too short. I bought some longer roller pins, but do you think that I should go down a size to the green rollers that you use in your tutorial?

Green Mesh Rollers are Easier
by: Nina, Editor LHHA

Hi Maya!

I also have the larger purple mesh rollers and I do use them sometimes. I do not have a problem with the pins being too short. Maybe it depends on how you put them through - they don't have to go through the whole width of the roller - just enough to attach the roller to the hair.

Nevertheless, I find the green rollers easier to work with. You can fit more on your head and it's easier to place them.

I say give both a try and see how it comes out. You may find that you can use the larger ones on top and the green ones all around and even the smaller black ones on your nape and hairline area.

Good luck and come back to let me know how it turns out!
